After a decade of playing games on my iPhone, there are a few I still go back and search on the Appstore to see if they’ve had a stealth update for modern devices. Warbits is one of them. The last update came before the notched screens came along.
The wait is over – developers RiskyLab wrote a blog post announcing Warbits was headed back to iOS (and PC and Android) after it’s rebuilt from the ground up to “support more screen sizes, cross platform play, community driven content, profile progression, and a whole slew of quality of life improvements”.
Sounds pretty neat. The blog post is titled Warbits+, but reading between the lines on the devs’ discord server, this is not an ‘AppStore Classics’ Apple Arcade game.
